3 weeks off this Month — Where to go?

Our take

Hey everyone! I’ve got a $2000 Air Canada gift card and three weeks off this month, and I’m ready for an adventure! I’m considering South Korea, Singapore + Malaysia, Japan (which I visited two years ago), or France. I love nature, culture, and architecture, and I’m a solo male traveler in my early 30s. While France might be too pricey for a full trip, I’m excited about exploring new places! Any suggestions on where to go for an epic experience? Let’s make this journey unforgettable!

Hey everyone;

I have a gift card for Air Canada $2000 and I have time off! I boiled it down to South Korea, Singapore + Malay, Japan (I’ve been here two years ago) or France.

Budget is $2k CAD not including flights. I’m into nature, culture, architecture. In my early 30’s a solo male traveller. Because I also have time off, I sorta want to optimize for that but idk.

I’m flying out of Toronto.

If I go to France I wouldn’t be able to go for a full 2.5 weeks due to how expensive it is. Flight would be Toronto > France.

Japan, I’ve been to Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Hakone, Kamakura and loved it and this was the last time I’ve left the country. I’d be going to Hiroshima & Tokyo for 2 weeks. Flight would be either Toronto to Tokyo or Toronto > Montreal > Japan.

South Korea, It’s a bit of a toss up since I’ve heard mixed things from my friends who is South Korean. She said because I don’t drink, party or care for many material things, it might be a bit “stale.” Flight would be Toronto > South Korea.

Singapore + Malaysia, sounds like the best fit but if I’m planning on going to Thailand for a longer trip, next January, it feels like I can combine this with it, to be more efficient. The flight would also be Toronto > Vancouver > Singapore. I’m also a bit worried about disruptions with commutes due to the

energy crisis war. I wouldn’t mind also taking my Dad since he’d love to go but that wouldn’t be until later this year or next year.

Options not limited to this but I’ll be using my Air Canada gift card.

Any suggestions? 🙏🏽
