6 day trip to Albania

Our take

Hey there, adventure seekers! I’m thrilled to share that in just a week, my friend and I are heading to Albania for a six-day exploration! This is our first solo trip without any locals to guide us, so we’re eager to dive into the best spots while avoiding tourist traps. With our camping gear and a rental car, we’re all about spontaneous adventures, scenic hikes, and soaking up nature.

Hey there!

Im going on a trip to Albania, just me and one friend in about a week!

This is going to be my first time travelling to a place without knowing anyone from there, so im very much used to having a local to show me around the best spots, the people, and avoid tourist traps, so im kind of scared of not being able to get the proper experience.

With that said, we are spending 6 days in Albania, renting a car for the whole trip and we are bringing a tent and camping stuff.

Me and my friend are usually a very go with the flow type of travelers but we would like to do some hikes (maybe even multiple day hikes?) that might take some planning ahead.

Our main goal is to do some nice hikes, see the nature and small towns, find a way to spend some time with the locals and have some fun in the cities! We could go by some beaches but i dont thinks a big priority (We would rather swim in rivers and such)

I've read a lot of stuff in this sub and other places online but, if you guys have any big recomendations and tips, also stuff to avoid, please say so!!!

Many thanks!!
