Are there easy hiking options in Réunion Island?

I was considering travelling to Réunion Island (France) since it is a very exotic and beautiful place, while still offering the security and quality of infrastructure of Europe.

I was thinking about a "nature" trip, mainly focusing on hikings and wilderness. The problem I found yestarday was that the vast majority of hiking trails I discovered was classified as hard or very hard. I do not have too much issue about this, but I'm travelling with my mother and she is not ready for that kind of activities.

Are there also easier hiking trails around the island which allows you to also explore the local nature properly and get all that impressive views you can watch around Internet?

Also, I was thinking about going on the first week of November, but I read it is a transictional month and may be complicated to go hiking.

Any information/tips about this topic?
