Athens itinerary

Hey everyone! 👋

I’m planning a 2.5-day trip to Athens and wanted to get your thoughts on my itinerary:

Day 1:

- Arriving there around 9-10 am

- Monument of the Unknown Soldier & Hellenic Parliament (change of guards on the hour)

- Syntagma Square

- National Garden

- Zappeion Hall

- Temple of Olympian Zeus

- Panathenaic Stadium

- Beach / Lycabettus Hill

Day 2:

- Acropolis (8am-)

- Theatre of Dionysus

- Parthenon

- Erechtheion

- Temple of Athena Nike

- Odeon of Herodes Atticus

- National Observatory of Athens

- Temple of Hephaestus

- Ancient Agora of Athens

- Roman Agora

- Hadrian’s Library

- Psiri

- Monastiraki Square

- Athens Flea Market

- Holy Church of the Virgin Mary

- Sephora (quick stop 😄)

- Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens

- Anafiotika

- Plaka

- Arch of Hadrian

Day 3:

- National Archaeological Museum

(I have to leave around 12, so I only planned this museum for that day)

Does this look realistic, or am I overpacking it? What would you skip or rearrange?

Also, I definitely want to catch at least one sunset (probably Lycabettus Hill) and spend some time by the sea (thinking Kalamaki beach). Is it possible with this list? Which day should I do what?
