Austrian Airlines recent experience with carry-on needed

Our take

Austrian Airlines is preparing for a new adventure as a traveler seeks clarity on their carry-on policy. This first-time flyer plans to bring a carry-on bag along with a personal item, which includes a laptop in a tote bag. Having had positive experiences with other low-cost airlines like Ryanair and WizzAir, the traveler wonders if Austrian Airlines will allow the laptop to be considered exempt from carry-on limits. Join the conversation to discover if this airline shares the same friendly approach to carry-on allowances!

Hi! I'll fly with this company for the first time and I have the carry-on + 1 personal item.

I will also have my personal computer which I usually take separately in a tote bag. I do this with Ryanair, WizzAir and other low cost without purchasing the extra carry on, and it's allowed since it's a computer and does not count as extra bag.

Do you know if this is allowed also with this company?

Thank you !!!
