Hey everyone! I'm planning a trip to either Hawaii or Bali with my girlfriend, and I need your thoughts. My friend raved about Bali, but I'm not convinced. With all my credit card points, I can cover our flights and stays in Hawaii, so cost isn't an issue. After just returning from Japan, I’m craving stunning beaches, breathtaking sunsets, and that laid-back tropical vibe. Will Hawaii deliver on that, or does Bali offer something even more epic? Your insights would be amazing—thanks for your help!

Hey guys, I have been considering a Hawaii trip for me and my gf. My friend who has recently been to Bali recommended it over Hawaii but not for very convincing reasons. Everyone is telling me Hawaii is too expensive and thats all I can find online. The thing is I have all the credit card points to cover flight and stays for 2 weeks, so essentially free. I am not really craving an exotic across-the-world travel destination either, I just came back from a 3 week trip to Japan. What I really want is the best most beautiful beaches, sunsets, and tropical vibe. Do you guys think Hawaii will be able to bring me this and if not is Bali or another option better and why?

Edit: Thank you guys for the help so far, I now have a long list of beaches I need to visit haha.

Hawaii vs Costa RicaHello hello, Me and my housemate are staying in New Jersey and were planning a trip to Hawaii or Costa rica. We are two students who are going for a week in August of this year and wanted to see if anyone had any travel experiences or wanted to chime in to see if either one suited us better. We've done some saving are looking for a balanced trip with lots of tanning and relaxing but also a lot of hiking and wildlife. Our current pros and cons: Costa rica pros- amazing experiences you can't get elsewhere, amazing wildlife and nature. Costa rica cons - Travelling from place to place (and the planning this requires) would be relly stressful considering we've never done a trip like this before, and we would have to buy extra things for the monsoon weather. Expensive Hawaii pros - looks really cool, good wildlife, easier communication Hawaii cons - Further away to fly, aren't sure of what things are available. Also Expensive Any thoughts?
