Baltimore BWI short layover okay?

Our take

Hey there, adventurer! If you're flying through Baltimore (BWI) with a tight 40-minute connection between Southwest flights, it's definitely a nail-biter! Generally, Southwest is known for quick connections, especially for domestic flights. However, keep in mind that you’ll need time to deplane, navigate to your next gate, and possibly deal with boarding. If you’re feeling uncertain, consider switching to a longer layover for added peace of mind. After all, you want your journey to be smooth and stress-free! Safe travels!

Hi - I have an opinion/advice question about flying through Baltimore (BWI). I am flying Southwest in a few weeks, and have a connection at BWI. My first flight is scheduled to land in BWI at 7:25 pm and then I have to change plans for another flight departing at 8:05 pm (40 min later). I don’t have gate info yet, but both are Southwest domestic US flights. Is that enough time to make it, or should I look into changing my flight for a longer layover?
