Hey everyone! I’m planning a summer trip to Belgium, wrapping up in Ypres. I’ll be visiting Ghent in November, so I want to skip that this time. My idea is to base myself in Bruges, spending a day exploring the city and another day at the beach in Oostende before heading to Ypres. I’ve heard mixed reviews about Oostende’s beach, so I’m curious if anyone has suggestions for a nicer beach that’s easily accessible from Bruges. I appreciate your thoughts and recommendations!

Im planning to go to Belgium for a few days over summer - finishing at Ypres.
I am going to Ghent in November so would like to avoid that.
I was thinking, having a base in brugges, spending a day there and then a day in oostende to then go to Ypres.
I want to go to oostende for the beach but i hear its not the nicest beach- thoughts? is there another beach that i can get to and back from brugges?
