Best way to get from Charleston Airport (CHS) to Myrtle Beach on the evening of May 26th?

Our take

Hey everyone! I'm arriving at Charleston Airport (CHS) on May 26th at 6:13 PM and need to make my way to Myrtle Beach that same evening. Unfortunately, the bus options I found only run in the morning, so I'm considering an Uber or Lyft. I'm a bit concerned about surge pricing during evening rush hour, estimating the fare to be around $80-120. Are there any other affordable options I might have overlooked? I’m traveling with one suitcase and prefer a straightforward solution.

Hey everyone! I'm arriving at Charleston Airport (CHS) on May 26th at 6:13 PM and need to get to Myrtle Beach the same evening.

I already checked buses but the only options are at 11 AM and 11:55 AM, so that doesn't work for me.

Right now my plan is to take an Uber/Lyft directly from the airport, but I'm worried about surge pricing during evening rush hour. I'm estimating around $80-120 — does that sound right? Are there any other affordable options I might be missing?

I'm traveling with one suitcase and would prefer something straightforward. Budget is a concern but I mainly need to get there that evening.

Thanks in advance! 🙏
