C3 Scanners – Which airports in Europe or the US actually have them now?
Our take
Hey everyone! I’m on a mission to compile a real-world list of which airports in Europe and the US have C3 (CT) security scanners in place. These are the scanners that let us keep our liquids and laptops in our bags—how awesome is that? I've heard that Berlin (BER) and Heathrow (LHR) are leading the charge, but it seems like each airport is at a different stage of implementation. Some have full lanes, while others just have a test lane.
Hey everyone,
I’m trying to get a real-world list of where the C3 (CT) security scanners are actually in place. You know, the ones where we can finally keep liquids and laptops inside our bags?
I’ve heard Berlin (BER) has them running and Heathrow (LHR).
But it seems like every airport is at a different stage—some have them in every lane, while others only have one "test" lane that feels like winning the lottery.
Where have you seen them lately?
- Which airports are 100% upgraded?
- Which ones only have them in specific terminals or lanes?
- Any experience with them?
Drop the airport code and your experience below. It’d be great to know where we can actually stop messing around with those tiny plastic bags!
