Get ready to dive into an Easter weekend that was anything but ordinary! Our latest adventure took us to Caracas, Venezuela, and wow, what an experience it was. While the headlines might paint a different picture, our time there was filled with incredible warmth from the people we met, even with our limited Spanish. It’s a reminder that connection can shine through, no matter the language barrier!
The energy in Caracas during Holy Week was absolutely electric. We got to witness the Via Dolorosa in the Petare district, a powerful and deeply moving public reenactment of Jesus's journey. It was an intense and unforgettable sight, a true testament to the vibrant traditions alive in the city. Beyond this profound experience, we explored more of Petare and the bustling city center, soaking in the local atmosphere and even catching an amazing performance right in the main square!
This trip was a powerful reminder that adventure is everywhere, sometimes in places we least expect. It’s about embracing the unknown, being open to new cultures, and finding the incredible human connections that make any journey epic. Venezuela, you surprised us with your spirit and the genuine kindness of your people. We’re already dreaming of our next big adventure!
