Get ready for an epic adventure that’s straight out of a dream! We’re diving headfirst into a story that’s all about chasing the magic of the Northern Lights in Finland, and let us tell you, it’s pure sunshine and good vibes. Our friend, who’s basically living their best main character life, jetted off to Rovaniemi with one big goal: to witness the aurora borealis. And guess what? On their very last night, the sky exploded with color! Talk about a grand finale! Even though the aurora forecast was looking a little iffy most of the trip, and clouds tried to crash the party, our adventurous spirit decided to take one last aurora hunting tour. Boom! The lights showed up in a huge, spectacular way. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the biggest rewards come when you keep that adventurous energy going, even when things seem a little uncertain.

But this Finnish journey was way more than just a sky-high light show! Imagine hiking through the breathtaking Korouoma Canyon, feeling that crisp Arctic air, and then zipping through snowy landscapes on a thrilling dogsled ride. Talk about an energy boost! We’re picturing the wind in your hair, the excited barks of the dogs, and that feeling of pure, unadulterated fun. And of course, no trip to Finland would be complete without a visit to Santa’s Village and a super cool crossing of the Arctic Circle. Plus, we heard about some adorable reindeer hanging out at one of the hotels – how sweet is that?! It’s all about embracing the wonder and letting your curiosity lead the way, finding joy in every single moment.

And let’s not forget the travel hacks! Flying Finnair business class? Highly recommend! It sounds like a dream journey, filled with comfort and style. And that Finnair blueberry juice? If you see it in stores, grab it! It’s described as a taste of pure bliss, a little sip of Finnish sunshine. Even when the ice fishing didn’t reel in any catches, or the snowmobiling was just a thrill, the whole experience was about the adventure itself. It’s the journey, the exploration, and the memories made with your squad that truly matter. This trip is a perfect example of how to embrace every part of an adventure, from the epic highs to the fun, unexpected moments, all with a bold, unstoppable spirit!

From travel

Last month I took a trip to Finland hoping to see the Northern Lights, and I finally did on the last night I was there! I got pretty lucky, because every day the aurora forecast wasn't that good and/or it was cloudy, but I took an aurora hunting tour on the last night and it was really strong. I stayed in Rovaniemi and the average temperatures were just above freezing, which wasn't too bad luckily.
