Chronic Illness travelers, what are some things you always pack that would seem absurd to most people?
Our take
Traveling with a chronic illness can require some unique packing essentials that might seem a bit unconventional to others. From lightweight blackout curtains for photosensitivity to portable BP machines and oxygen sensors, every item plays a crucial role in ensuring comfort and safety on the go. Some might even find a small firm pillow or a selfie stick for physiotherapy to be odd choices, but they can make a world of difference. What are some of your must-have items that others might consider absurd?
I'll start! I carry a lightweight blackout curtain and clips (for my photosensitivity), portable BP machine/Oximeter, a small firm pillow, a selfie stick that I only use for physiotherapy, and a small box of salt in my purse (to maintain my BP).
