Clothes have always been a complicated topic for me
Our take
Clothes can be a tricky topic, especially when it feels like many styles cater to shorter, petite women. As an athlete with an athletic build, finding the right fit can be challenging, especially with tight legs and a broader waist. While I adore the low-rise jorts and tube top look, I often lack the confidence to wear them. Can pear-shaped women rock this style, or is it best to steer clear?

| Like the title states… I have a hard time shopping for clothes. Mainly because I feel like a majority of styles these days revolve around shorter, petite women (this is not to offend anyone! You guys kill it) I am an athlete who has had an “athletic” build for a majority of my life. Usually, things are tight in the legs and big in the waist. Additionally, I have broad shoulders that linebackers would probably love to have. I love the low-rise jorts and tube top look. The thing is that I’ve never been confident in wearing them. Is this a fashion style that pear-shaped women can pull off? Or is it a style that should be avoided? [link] [comments] |
