Alright, let's dive into this Corfu to Athens travel dilemma! So, you're looking at Aegean Airlines and Sky Express, and the prices and flight times are practically twins. It sounds like your biggest worry is that checked bag – totally get that! Traveling the next day means you need your stuff to be with you, no ifs, ands, or buts. Your friends are going with Sky Express, but since the flight times are so similar, you have a golden opportunity to choose what feels best for *you* and your peace of mind.

When it comes to adventures, especially those that lead you back home, smooth sailing (or flying!) is key. Since the cost and timing are neck-and-neck, the deciding factor really comes down to minimizing any potential bumps in the road. Those reviews about Sky Express and luggage can be a red flag, especially when you have a tight turnaround. Think of it this way: you want to maximize the fun and minimize the stress. Choosing the airline that gives you more confidence in your luggage arriving safely can make all the difference between a chill arrival and a frantic search.

This is your moment to be the main character of your travel story! You've got the power to pick the path that feels most secure. While it's awesome to go with your friends, your personal travel experience matters too. If Aegean offers that extra layer of reassurance regarding your checked bag, it might just be the ticket to a totally epic and worry-free transition from island vibes to city exploring. Don't let the thought of lost luggage dim your sunshine – go with the option that promises a brighter, more predictable journey!

I’ll be flying from Corfu to Athens this June. From what I’ve seen my only options are Aegean Airlines and Sky Express. The price is basically the same once I include 1 checked bag, and the flight times are pretty much the same too (only a 5-minute difference).

I’ve seen some pretty bad reviews of Sky Express, especially when it comes to delayed or lost luggage. That’s what's worrying me the most, since I’ll be flying back home the next day, so I really don’t want to deal with baggage delays or worst case scenario it getting lost.
