Does my itinerary makes sense? Rome->australia whv->greece in 3 months.

Our take

Are you ready for an epic adventure that takes you from Rome to Australia and then to Greece? You're set to embark on a Working Holiday Visa (WHV) in Australia today, with plans to visit your girlfriend in Greece this August. While the potential for immediate job opportunities is exciting, the cost of flights and the timing of your trip weigh heavily on your decision.

I'm flying to australia on a whv today, from Rome, however I will visit my girlfriend who goes to greece in August. That's only 3 months, best case scenario I imagine I break even or if very lucky I get jobs instantly and can gain money, however plane tickets out of australia will probably cost around 1k euros.

Does it make sense to go now or should I wait for after that ? My visa is valid for 1 year starting from arrival on the territory and I got a VERY good 530euro deal ticket, so In case I do not go I "only" lose 530eu-150refun in case of no show.

I'm thinking about going to her homecountry (poland) and try to find work but I speak french/english so that isn't in my favor.
