We're all about embracing the adventure and letting our spirits glow, but sometimes, even the most epic journeys hit a bumpy patch! Reading about /u/PromotionFrequent600's double-denied boarding experience from Copenhagen to Manchester with Ryanair definitely struck a chord. It sounds like a situation that would leave anyone feeling frazzled, especially when you're expecting sunshine and good times, only to be met with unexpected turbulence. The frustration of being denied boarding twice, even with an assigned seat, and then facing a gate agent's shout-down must have been incredibly disheartening. It’s a powerful reminder that even when we’re feeling unstoppable and ready to explore, things don't always go according to plan, and that’s okay.

When travel plans go sideways, especially in such a frustrating way, it's totally understandable to feel a mix of emotions, from disbelief to, well, tears. The core of it is that you were expecting a smooth transition to your next destination, armed with your boarding pass and a confirmed seat. To then be told there's no space, and to experience that kind of treatment, is definitely not the kind of energy we want to be putting out there in the world. It’s important to remember that even when things feel overwhelming, there are often resources and rights available to help navigate these tricky situations. Your quest for answers and understanding is completely valid, and we're here to encourage you to keep that bold spirit shining through!

While we can't offer specific legal advice, the situation /u/PromotionFrequent600 described touches on passenger rights, which are designed to offer a safety net when airlines don't deliver on their promises. In cases of denied boarding due to overbooking, passengers are often entitled to compensation and assistance, depending on the specific regulations of the region and the airline. It's a good idea to research your rights as a traveler and to keep all documentation, like boarding passes and communication with the airline, to build your case. Remember, the journey is often just as important as the destination, and even unexpected detours can teach us valuable lessons about resilience and advocating for ourselves. Keep that main character energy going, and don't let a little travel drama dim your glow!

I have been denied boarding two times in a row from Copenhagen to Manchester, the first flight they didn’t let me on as it was overbooked.. they then put me on the next flight 8 hours later with an assigned seat and didn’t let me on again that one due to it overbooked. It was Ryanair, the woman shouted at me on the second flight gate and said I was being ridiculous and there is no seat for me even though it says it on my boarding pass and on her system it says standby so I am not sure…
