Driving from UK to Lagos (Has anyone else done this?!)

Our take

Hey, adventure seekers! I’m gearing up for an epic road trip from the Midlands in the UK to sunny Lagos, Portugal, in just six weeks! My plan kicks off with a midnight ferry from Dover to Calais, followed by a whirlwind drive through France and Spain. I’ll be pushing to reach Lagos by Saturday night after a fun stop in Bordeaux. It’s a bold challenge, giving myself 48 hours for 26 hours of driving. Has anyone else taken on this journey?

I'm going to be driving from the midlands in the UK to Lagos PT in around 6 weeks.

My rough plan is -

Thursday Night - Drive to Dover and catch the midnight ferry to Calais, arriving at 2am, drive all through the night through France into Friday

Friday Night - Hopefully I haven't exhausted myself and had to stop earlier, planning a stayover in Bordeaux

Saturday Morning - Get up early and begin the drive into Spain, crossing Valladolid and Salamanca before heading down to Seville

Saturday Night - Follow the south Coast and reach Lagos hopefully by Saturday night.

I want to know if this is too ambitious, basically giving myself 48 hours to do 26 hours of solid driving, has anyone else done this? I do have the option to stay over again somewhere Saturday night but would ideally like to be in Lagos by Sunday morning at the latest.
