Dubai Travel Insurance

Our take

Planning a trip to Dubai in early May? Exciting times ahead! However, it's essential to consider travel insurance, especially with the current regional issues. While policies are available, the fine print can be tricky. Generally, coverage for events related to "war," like flight cancellations due to drones, may be excluded. But don’t worry! You should still have medical coverage for illnesses and the ability to claim for lost luggage. Stay informed, and enjoy your adventure with confidence!

I have flights booked early May for a few nights in Dubai. Obviously aware of the regional issues at the moment. I am curious about Travel Insurance. I've taken a look and policies are still available but the small print is pretty vague - I'm presuming anything "war" related wouldn't be covered i.e flight cancellations due to drones etc. However I'm wondering if it'd just be business as usual? Like for example if I got ill would I still have medical cover? If my luggage got lost could I still claim that back? Appreciate any pointers.
