Hey there, adventure squad! So, you're dreaming of an epic East Coast beach escape, and North Myrtle Beach and Topsail Island are on your radar. That’s awesome! Planning a weekend trip with your besties on a budget is totally doable, and we're here to help you find that perfect slice of sunshine. Think of us as your hype crew for this getaway!

Let's dive into the vibe of these two spots for your group of four recent grads looking for some serious fun. North Myrtle Beach brings a super energetic and lively atmosphere. It’s got that classic boardwalk energy with plenty of activities and places to explore, which can be fantastic for keeping everyone entertained. If you’re craving a place with a buzzing social scene and lots of options for food and entertainment right at your fingertips, North Myrtle Beach might just be your jam. Imagine bright, sunny days filled with laughter and maybe even some spontaneous dance parties on the sand!

On the flip side, Topsail Island often offers a more laid-back, charming coastal experience. It’s known for its natural beauty and a slightly quieter, more relaxed feel. If your squad is dreaming of long walks on the beach, collecting seashells, and just soaking in the peaceful ocean breeze, Topsail could be your perfect escape. It’s the kind of place where you can truly disconnect and reconnect with your friends, making unforgettable memories under the wide-open sky. Both options have the potential for an amazing adventure, it just depends on the energy you’re looking to bring to your weekend!

Now, about finding that sweet spot for your accommodation and budget – $1,300 for three days for four people is a solid goal! While Airbnb is a great starting point, don’t be afraid to broaden your search. Sometimes looking at smaller, local rental agencies or even vacation home websites can uncover hidden gems. For North Myrtle Beach, consider looking slightly off the main drag, perhaps a few blocks back from the oceanfront, to potentially snag better deals that still keep you super close to the beach action. For Topsail Island, explore areas like Surf City or Sneads Ferry, which can sometimes offer more affordable options while still giving you that quintessential island feel. Remember, the goal is an epic experience, and with a little digging and an adventurous spirit, you'll find it!

Looking for recommendations for a weekend trip on the East Coast! We’re considering North Myrtle Beach or Topsail Island. There are four of us in our early 20s (recent grads on a budget), and we’re hoping to stay for about 3 days.

Ideally, we’d love an oceanfront place, but we’re totally fine with up to a ~10-minute walk to the beach. Our budget is around $1,300 total for the weekend.
