Epic Italian Adventure: Rome, Naples, and Vatican City Shine
A week in Rome, Naples, and the Vatican - some of the most incredible cities with the best lighting I’ve ever seen

Get ready for an epic Italian adventure that’s all about embracing the real, the vibrant, and the totally unforgettable! Our latest journey took us to the heart of Italy, exploring the iconic streets of Rome, the electric energy of Naples, and the spiritual grandeur of Vatican City. This wasn't your average, perfectly curated tour; it was a dive headfirst into authentic experiences, where every corner held a new discovery and the sunshine seemed to glow a little brighter.

Stepping into Rome during the closing of the Porta Santa was a moment of pure magic, a chance to be part of history as the doors to the Vatican sealed for another quarter-century. Even with the crowds and a bit of rainy weather, Rome's charm was undeniable, and the food? Absolutely divine! But the real adventure kicked off when we headed south to Naples. Talk about a culture shock in the best way possible! Naples might be a bit grittier, a bit more chaotic, but that's exactly where its incredible soul shines through. It’s a place bursting with life, where every street corner tells a story, the pizza is legendary, and the lemons are as bright as the sunshine. Forget the manicured paths; Naples is for those who crave authenticity and are ready to be swept away by its raw, beautiful energy.

One of the most surprising discoveries on this trip? Just how photogenic Italy truly is! It's like the entire country is a built-in backdrop, with sunlight that just makes everything pop. Seriously, every street, every piazza, every ancient ruin felt like a perfectly framed shot waiting to happen. It’s this incredible, visual energy that makes Italy such a dream destination for anyone who loves to capture the moment. This adventure was a reminder that the most amazing experiences are often found when you step outside your comfort zone, embrace the unexpected, and let the vibrant spirit of a place truly glow. So, are you ready for your own epic Italian escapade? Let's go!

From travel

Firstly, I went to Rome during the pilgrimage for the closing of the porta santa during the end of epiphany. It was an amazing experience to be one of the last people to go through the doors of the Vatican before they closed for the next quarter century. With that being said, Rome was full to the brim of tourists and the weather was particularly nasty and rainy everyday. The food was excellent, but Rome was a little grungier than what I was used to (I am in Spain every year).
