Okay, squad, let's talk about finding those *epic* spots that feel like a total glow-up for your travel dreams! We recently stumbled upon a gem that’s been lighting up our feeds and our hearts – Portovenere and Tellaro on the Italian Riviera. It’s like the Italian Riviera decided to throw a party, and you’re invited to the most authentic, sun-drenched corner!

We’ve all seen the iconic beauty of places like Cinque Terre, and yes, it’s totally breathtaking. But sometimes, the sheer energy of the crowds can be a lot, right? That’s where Portovenere and Tellaro steal the show. They’ve got that same jaw-dropping coastal charm, those same painted houses that make you want to pinch yourself, but with a serene, unhurried rhythm. Tellaro, in particular, is like a secret whispered on the breeze – a place where people are simply enjoying the sunshine, the sea, and the pure joy of being present. It’s an invitation to slow down, breathe deep, and soak in the authentic spirit of the coastline.

If you’re someone who dreams big and craves experiences that feel like your own personal main character moment, this is your sign! Portovenere and Tellaro offer that perfect blend of stunning scenery and genuine local life. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why you love to explore – for the unexpected delights, the connections you make, and the sheer, unadulterated fun. So, if your travel plans are calling for a dash of Italian magic without the overwhelming crowds, this side of Liguria is ready to welcome you with open arms and a whole lot of sunshine. Let’s get out there and make some memories!

From travel

I was in this part of the Italian Riviera recently and ended up spending time in Portovenere and Tellaro, and honestly I didn’t expect to like it this much.

Both places have that same colorful coastal vibe, but felt way calmer and more local. Tellaro especially was super quiet, just people hanging out by the sea, no rush, no big crowds.
