ESTA DUI - Will I be denied?

Our take

Hey everyone! I’m feeling really stressed about my upcoming family trip this Friday. Four years ago, I had a DUI related to drugs, but I’ve never faced charges or gone to court over it. Now, I’m worried about traveling with an ESTA for my family member’s wedding. The application asks about drug-related offenses, and I’ve heard a single DUI might not be an issue, but I’m scared. I don’t have time to apply for a visa, and I can’t let my family know about this.

Hey everyone,

I’m stressing out. I’m travelling with my family this Friday but I had a DUI 4 years ago that did involve drugs.

I’ve never been charged or convicted or gone to court or anything over drugs, but unfortunately I have a DUI and I am wondering whether or not I can still travel with an ESTA to go to a family members wedding.

Can anyone give me any advice? I do not have time at all to apply for a Visa and I am devastated….

My family cannot know about this either so I’m not sure what to do :(

On the ESTA the question is have you violated any law regarding the use distribution of selling illicit drugs? I was told a single DUI isn’t a problem but now I’m scared and worried
