First International trip, Flying to Europe 6 nights total between Amsterdam and Paris is this enough???

Our take

Hey there, adventurer! Planning your first international trip to Europe is such an epic journey, and it’s totally understandable to feel a mix of excitement and uncertainty, especially after a breakup. Your itinerary of four nights in Amsterdam and two in Paris sounds like a fantastic way to soak up the vibrant energy of both cities! Amsterdam offers a relaxed vibe for unwinding after your flight, while Paris is perfect for a whirlwind two-day adventure.

Hi, planning on traveling to Europe for the first time in June. From Austin Texas haven't done much traveling outside of Texas so this is a big deal for me. I was in a relationship we planned on going to Europe together, we broke up now im trying to decide if I should still go with less budget both me and her were splitting the cost. shes no longer going at all.

so my proposed itenirary is 4 nights in Amsterdam and 2 nights in Paris than fly back to Austin. im wondering if this is to short and if I should just cancel and wait until I have more budget to go. it seems like 4 days in Amsterdam gives me a slow pace coming off a long flight. Paris i would take the train there from Amsterdam and it seems like I could see what I want in 2 days.

as an alternative 3 nights in Amsterdam, 3 in Paris this is more expensive because I booked the Amsterdam hotel awhile ago at great rate. im just now booking Paris since its without her now.

I wasnt sure about the trip before than I became excited about it less nervous about traveling oit if the country and just happy. the break up happened and now I dont want to lose the thing that mattered to me so much, this travel experience.

any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for Listening.
