Fuel shortages make me afraid of being stuck on without a way of coming back

Our take

Hey everyone! I’m reaching out for advice as I navigate a tough situation. Currently, I’m in Malaysia working on my thesis and will be here until July. Due to recent fuel shortages, I’m feeling anxious about my ability to return to Europe once my internship ends. I’m already facing delays in my studies and can't afford further setbacks. While I want to finish my thesis, I’m also worried about being stranded here. Any tips or support would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hi everyone,

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I don't know where I should post this and where I can get some good advice for this. I am writing my thesis in Malaysia right now, and will be here until July. Because of the fuel shortages I am now afraid I can not return to Europe when I am done. I don't know what I should do and feel quite anxious. because I am alone on the other side of my homeland.... I feel like I can't jsut quite and return, because I already have a delay in my study and if I don't finish it now it will be delayed even more. On the otherhand, I don't want to be stuck here after my internship ends, because my funds aren't that high.

Any advice is appreciated.
