Genoa is an absolutely beautiful old city.

Its narrow streets, historic buildings, and atmosphere make it a wonderful place just to wander around.

If you get a little tired of walking through the old town, I’d really recommend visiting Castello d’Albertis.

The castle sits on a hill, so the views over Genoa are stunning.

The museum itself is also very impressive and beautifully preserved. Inside, you’ll find lots of interesting exhibits, elegant historic interiors, and even some lovely music rooms where visitors can interact with instruments. It still feels very connected to the life of its former owner, Captain Enrico Alberto d’Albertis, which makes the visit even more special.
