How did your trips change once you started earning more money?

Our take

Hey everyone! Have you ever noticed how your travel experiences shift when your budget expands? Personally, I've found that while the comfort level rises, the inspiring vibe can sometimes fade. When I was on a tight budget, every trip felt like a thrilling adventure filled with free walking tours, spontaneous connections, and late-night chats in hostels. Now, with a more comfortable budget, I find myself skipping those unique experiences. I'm curious—how has your travel style evolved with your earnings? Let's chat about it!

Hi folks,

I’ve personally noticed this change: comfort has increased, but the vibe feels less inspiring.

For example, when you’re on a low budget, you try to get as much as possible out of each trip by joining free walking tours, making connections, and talking to strangers in hostels.

But once you have a comfortable budget, you tend to skip a lot of those experiences.

What about you?
