ID requirements in Europe
Our take
Hey there! As a fellow adventurer, I totally get your concerns about ID requirements when exploring the nightlife in Europe. In countries like France, Spain, and Italy, it’s quite common for bars and clubs to ask for ID, especially to verify your age. While an expired driver’s license may not be accepted everywhere, your passport is typically a reliable form of identification. Just be sure to keep it secure while you’re out! Embrace the fun and enjoy your epic European adventure!
Hey! I am a university grad and will be travelling within Europe soon (France, Spain and Italy) and was wondering the likelihood of being asked for ID to enter bars and clubs?
I recently lost my drivers license and won’t be able to get a new one (though I have an expired version not sure if this would be accepted even though it has my age on it) and am worried about bringing my passport out to clubs for fear of losing it
Thanks!
