Inspired by Givenchy's Fall/Winter 2026 collection by Sarah Burton, I was immediately captivated by Anya Taylor-Joy's stunning outfit at the Super Mario Galaxy Movie premiere in Japan. I knew I had to recreate it using thrifted pieces! My ensemble features a chic Alexander Wang dress, complemented by a ribbon crafted from a thrifted vest that also serves as a unique cover-up for my boots. The process took about three days, and I even hand-painted some florals to enhance the original piece’s yellowish hue.
| | I saw Anya Taylor Joy's recent outfit in Japan for Super Mario Galaxy Movie and immediately have to recreate it!!! All is sourced from thrift stores. Dress: Alexander Wang ; Ribbon made from thrifted vest also the cover up for the boots. Boots: Michael Kors. The making of this outfit lasted for about three days. It was an interpretation of the original piece. I have to hand paint few of the florals for it to pop out because the original color is kind of yellowish. [link] [comments] |
