Italy itinerary end of August- 2 weeks

Our take

Get ready for an unforgettable Italian adventure! Arriving in Milan on August 22 and departing around September 5 or 6, your two-week itinerary is packed with excitement. From the stunning shores of Lake Garda to the breathtaking Dolomites, where you’ll enjoy a cozy stay at the Monte Pana hotel, and the culinary delights of Modena, you’re in for a treat.

Planning below trip with a 2 YO, I will be in 2nd trimester.

Fly into Milan out of Boston -land early AM August 22 - fly out Sep 05 or 06.

4 nights- drive to lake Garda ( might do a day trip to Verona or Venice depending on jet lag)

5 nights- Dolomites- booked Monte Pana hotel

4 nights- Modena (trying to look for a farm stay near by)

1-2 nights in Milan before flying out. Will stay near the airport to catch the flight. Not planning to do any sight seeing. If we are not tired by the end of 2 weeks, might stroll around city center if we have 1 full day.

Planning to rent the car from the airport. Atleast to drag the luggage from point A to B and easier nap times. Once at the location, we can take the public transport.

I haven’t gotten as far as looking into how we will spend the day. But I would love input on the above itinerary if anything I should skip or replace. Our son loves to walk, explore, enjoys the parks, loves pizza pasta and ice creams! Love farm animals at this age. We are celebrating both our birthday during this trip so would love any recommendations for a photoshoot.
