Itinerary for 2 month trip but traveling while working, how many nights in each place
Our take
Hello Everyone,
I am drafting up a plan to travel this Spring / Summer to Europe for 2-3 months.
I am not a digital nomad per se I’m just looking to take my job on the road since I am fully remote and can work from anywhere. But I wanted to refer to this channel on their input to check my calendar of events below and get input on the schedule and if I need to add a day or two to any of these locations. I wanted to travel now for at least 5 years and didn’t get a chance to until now. I don’t want to quit my job since I’m able to work from wherever I want but I do work from 8 am to 5 pm CT USA hours. I’d appreciate any input on my plan for the first month. Thank you all so much:
Sat April 18 to Saturday April 25 (7 nights): Rome
Sat April 25 to Friday May 1 (6 nights): Seville. I will take Monday the 27th off to do a Ronda day trip.
Friday May 1 to Monday May 4 (3 nights): Granada
Monday May 4 to Sunday May 10 (6 nights): Madrid, one day trip to
either Toledo or Segovia. I will take Monday May 4 off of work.
Sunday May 10 to Saturday May 16 (6 nights): Krakow, day trips to divine mercy sanctuary, salt mines.
Saturday May 16 to Thursday May 21 (5 nights): Prague
Thursday May 21 to Tuesday May 26 (5 nights): Vienna
Tuesday May 26 to Sunday May 31 (5 nights): Budapest
I’ve also been to Rome before only for 2 full days. I don’t like revisiting places but thought to start there since I’m familiar with it, enjoyed my time there, and can get over jet lag. Was debating swapping that with Madrid. If I go to Madrid first, I’d probably head to Krakow right after Granada.
My job is not super demanding it’s low key easy but still a lot of work to juggle around with work load wise. Some days are more demanding than others.
Thank you!

- First time Europe trip Itinerary (early draft)Making my first trip overseas. I’m an experienced road tripper on the lower 48 but this will be a new experience. I have done some research but wanted the perspective of real people who have been there before Heading out in Early September. Fly into Milan. Planning on spending 3 days in Northern Italy. After that head up to the Jungfrau area of Switzerland to spend 3 days there. Then off to Germany for a couple days. Be visiting my Aunt and Uncle near Ansbach for a couple days. Thinking about stopping at the castle of Mad King Ludwig on the way up. After that head down to Austria to spend a day. Then it will be off to Slovenia to spend 4 full days. Then end the trip with a trip to Plitvance Lakes National Park before flying home out of Zagreb. Thoughts? I am having trouble narrowing down Italy. Sounds like the Dolomites will be difficult to fit in with going to Switzerland after. For my interests of Nature, history, and local culture Verona sounds like a must. Then either Lake Como or Venice. I have heard mixed reports on Venice. Some say it has one of the best preserved history you can find. Others says it’s overrated, overcrowded, and the canals stink. I’m also unsure what to do in Austria. Any suggestions to compliment the other stops? submitted by /u/80GradeScrewball [link] [comments]
- [updated] looking for advice/feedback on my 2 month Europe itineraryI posted a few days ago a rough itinerary for a 2 month Europe trip I am going on next summer but got a lot of feedback saying it’s way too rushed , I’m just seeing cities etc etc. I cut some places and added a bit of information to justify why I’ve picked the places I’ve picked The purpose of this trip as a 23yo is to lounge on beaches, party, and explore historical sites . At this point in time I’m not prioritizing rural or very small cities , however it is something I’d like to do in the future . That being said, this is what I have in order 🇬🇧** LONDO**N Fly out May 31st June 1st- 5th 🇮🇪** DUBLI**N June 5th- June 8th 🇵🇹** LISBO**N June 8th- 12th 🇵🇹PORTO June 12th- 15th 🇪🇸** BARCELON**A June 15th- June 19th 🇪🇸IBIZA June 19th- June 23rd 🇫🇷** NIC**E June 23rd- June 26th 🇩🇰** COPENHAGE**N June 26th- June 30th 🇩🇪** BERLI**N June 30th- July 4th 🇨🇿** PRAGU**E July 4th- July 8th 🇭🇺** BUDAPES**T July 8th- July 12th 🇮🇹** FLORENC**E July 12th- July 15th 🇮🇹** NAPLE**S July 15th- July 19th 🇹🇷** ISTANBU**L July 19th- July 23rd 🇬🇪** TBLIS**I July 23rd- July 27th I would love any sort of feedback in terms of whether this seems more feasible, whether these specific cities fit my description of the purpose of my trip etc. anything helps!
