Japan/South Korea in July/august, how hot?
Our take
Planning a solo adventure in Japan or South Korea this July and August? You're in for a treat! Both destinations offer vibrant festivals and exciting experiences, even amidst the summer heat. Japan's festivals are a must-see, with lively celebrations that bring communities together, showcasing tradition and culture. While the temperatures can soar, locals and visitors find ways to enjoy the festivities, embracing the warmth with refreshing treats and evening events.
I want to plan a solo travel trip to Tokyo or Seoul then hop around other places for 2 weeks but I can’t make up my mind! I want to visit the festivals in Japan but everywhere I see people are saying it’s too unbearable but how do they manage to set up the events! While Korea is much cheaper I also love k pop etc. Help!
