Long-time Ambassador Elite account with lifetime status shut down overnight - no response from Marriott

Our take

I’m reaching out to share my experience with Marriott regarding my Ambassador Elite account, which was unexpectedly shut down overnight by their Risk team. As a loyal member for nearly a decade, I’ve spent thousands of nights and hundreds of thousands of dollars with Marriott, proudly holding lifetime status. Despite my attempts to escalate the issue, I have yet to receive a clear explanation or resolution. Has anyone else faced a similar situation, and were you able to successfully resolve it?

I’ve spent thousands of nights with Marriott over the past nearly decade, have been an Ambassador Elite for a long time, with lifetime status, and have spend hundreds of thousands of dollars.

A few weeks ago, my account was shut down by their Risk team. No prior warning, and I haven’t received a meaningful explanation despite multiple escalations.

I’ve already told them I’m willing to resolve anything on their side.

Has anyone seen something like this before or had success getting it resolved?
