My trip to Hong Kong

Our take

I recently embarked on an unforgettable adventure to Hong Kong, and it was truly a dream come true! The night view at Victoria Harbour was a highlight, especially while strolling along the Tsim Sha Tsui promenade, where the dazzling skyline reflected beautifully on the water. Riding the Star Ferry at night was a simple yet spectacular experience, and the view from The Peak was nothing short of breathtaking. Plus, the city felt incredibly welcoming, with English signs and friendly locals making my exploration a breeze.

My trip to Hong Kong

I visited Hong Kong about a month ago, and I really enjoyed it.

The night view at Victoria Harbour was one of the best parts. I walked along the Tsim Sha Tsui promenade one evening, and the skyline with all the lights reflecting on the water was genuinely impressive. I also took the Star Ferry at night – simple and cheap, but the view from the water was totally worth it. The night I went up to The Peak, the city looked amazing from above.

What made the trip easier was how foreigner‑friendly Hong Kong felt. Signs and MTR announcements are in English, so getting around was no problem. In most restaurants I went to, staff were patient and helpful, and menus often had English or pictures. I never felt lost or unwelcome. People weren't overly chatty, but they were polite and efficient. A couple of times locals pointed me in the right direction when I looked confused.
