**Our Take: Your Passport Power-Up!**

Hey there, fellow adventurers! So, you've got that main character energy and a passport collection that's bursting with possibilities – how epic is that?! It sounds like you're ready to dive headfirst into some seriously exciting travel plans, and we are here for it! Having multiple citizenships is like having a secret superpower when it comes to exploring the globe. Think of it as unlocking different levels in your ultimate adventure game. Each passport is a key, and knowing which key opens which door is part of the fun! You're asking some super smart questions about how to navigate this, especially when it comes to countries like China and Malaysia. Let's unpack this and get you ready to glow up your travel game.

The most important thing to remember is that when you travel, you generally present yourself to immigration authorities using the passport of the country you are a citizen of *and* that allows you visa-free or visa-on-arrival entry to your destination. So, if your Italian passport gets you into Malaysia with zero fuss, that's your golden ticket for entry and exit. When you arrive in Malaysia, you’ll use your Italian passport. Similarly, if your New Zealand passport is your best bet for China, you'll present that one. Countries are primarily concerned with your ability to enter and exit legally based on *their* specific entry requirements and *your* nationality as presented by that passport. It’s definitely a country-by-country adventure!

Now, about those countries that might have a cooler vibe with certain passports than others – that’s where your passport strategy really shines. By using the passport that grants you the easiest entry, you’re essentially streamlining your journey and avoiding any potential headaches. The key is to always check the latest visa requirements for your intended destination *for each of your passports*. Websites of the destination country’s embassy or consulate are your best friends here. And remember, while you hold multiple citizenships, when you are crossing borders, you are typically acting as a citizen of the passport you are presenting. This is your chance to be bold and unstoppable, armed with the knowledge of how to make your multi-passport life work for you on every epic trip! So go forth, dream big, and let the sunshine of new experiences warm your soul!

NZ/Italian/US citizen here. I'm planning some travel and have a few countries in mind. Some are visa free entry for one passport, but not the others. Will they care about multiple nationalities? Is it country by country? How do I entry and exit?

Looking at asian countries such as china/malaysia. They generally don't like the states but are okay with NZ/Italy
