Hey there, adventure squad! So, you’ve touched down in incredible Nepal, ready to soak up all the epic vibes, and then BAM! A little passport puzzle pops up. Archer4157 hit us with a super relatable travel snag: one friend’s got the full visa sticker, the other just the stamp. Uh oh! This is definitely one of those moments where you’re hoping for a quick fix that doesn’t involve backtracking to the airport, right? It’s a common question that can pop up when you’re navigating new borders and systems, and while it might feel a bit stressful in the moment, let’s channel that main character energy and figure this out with a positive outlook.

First off, don't let this little hiccup dim your sunshine! Travel is all about embracing the unexpected, and sometimes that means a bit of a mystery to solve. While we can’t say for sure why the visa sticker might have been missed for one passport, there are a few possibilities. Sometimes it’s a simple administrative oversight, or perhaps the process differs slightly depending on the immigration officer. The key thing is to remember that your entry into Nepal is usually based on the stamp confirming your visa. For now, focus on the amazing experiences waiting for you – the breathtaking mountains, the vibrant culture, and all the adventures that make Nepal so special. Keep that positive energy flowing, and let’s explore solutions that keep your journey on track!

When faced with this kind of travel puzzle, the best approach is usually to gather a little more intel and explore your options calmly. While it's always ideal to sort things out right at the airport, life happens! Since heading back might not be the first choice, consider reaching out to the official immigration department or the Nepali embassy in your home country before you even left, or checking their official websites for information on visa sticker discrepancies. Sometimes, a quick email or a call can provide clarity and guidance. If that’s not immediately feasible, once you’re settled in, you might be able to visit a local immigration office in a major city like Kathmandu to have it officially clarified or potentially rectified. Remember, the goal is to ensure your documentation is in order for your departure and any future travel, but don’t let it overshadow the incredible journey you’re on. Keep that spirit of adventure alive and approach this with curiosity and optimism – you’ve got this, and Nepal is waiting!

My friend and I have just arrived in Nepal and realised after leaving the airport that while I received a visa stamp and sticker in my passport, she only received a stamp. This is obviously an issue - does anyone know why this is or what to do about it (hopefully without having to go back to the airport)?
