PEGASUS cancels flight for the 2nd time – where does the refund go when booked via OTA?

Pegasus has canceled flights for the second time, leaving travelers with urgent questions about refunds, especially those who booked through online travel agencies (OTAs) like lastminute. After successfully rebooking initial flights, the latest cancellation has raised concerns about the refund process. While Pegasus offers a refund higher than the original ticket price, travelers are uncertain if lastminute will pass on the full amount or only the initial fare, potentially impacting their ability to book alternative flights. I booked flights with Pegasus through the Website lastminute. They were cancelled, and I was able to rebook both outbound and return flights for free onto better flights.

Two weeks later, the return flights were cancelled again, and there are no more direct flights available on that day or even ±1 day.

Pegasus is offering a refund, which is significantly higher than what I originally paid for the return flight. However, if I now book a return flight with another airline, those are also more expensive, so I wouldn’t actually make any profit.

It says that the refund will be issued to the original form of payment. But since I booked via the OTA lastminute, I’m wondering: does anyone know if they pass on the full amount 1:1, or do they only refund the original portion and keep the difference?

I haven’t been able to reach anyone at lastminute for 2 days now.
