Philippines New Year's: Epic Island Adventure Awaits!

Hello there, fellow adventurers! It sounds like you've got an absolutely epic New Year's plan brewing in the Philippines, and we're here to help you make it shine brighter than a firework display! With 16-17 nights on the horizon and landing in Manila on December 28th, you're setting the stage for an unforgettable journey. El Nido and Boracay are fantastic choices, buzzing with energy and ready to welcome you with open arms and stunning scenery. Let's dive into creating a dream itinerary that’s packed with sunshine, good vibes, and plenty of opportunities to be the main character of your own adventure!

You're totally right to consider the variety when island hopping, and your instincts about Coron are spot on. While Coron is undeniably beautiful, with its dramatic lagoons and shipwrecks, if diving isn't your main jam, you might find it shares a similar adventurous spirit with El Nido. For a truly diverse experience that keeps the energy high and the exploration exciting, let's think outside the box! Consider adding Siargao to your list. Known as the "Surfing Capital of the Philippines," Siargao offers a different kind of thrill with its laid-back island vibe, stunning palm-fringed beaches, and incredible natural beauty. Think epic surf breaks (even if you're just watching!), hidden lagoons, and a super chill atmosphere that’s perfect for soaking up the sun and making memories with your squad. It’s a place where you can truly embrace that "dream big" mentality and find your own slice of paradise.

For your New Year's Eve celebration, Boracay truly shines with its vibrant party scene and incredible fireworks over the water. Imagine ringing in the New Year with your toes in the sand, surrounded by the joyous energy of the island – it’s pure magic! After that electrifying start, you could then head to El Nido for a few days of jaw-dropping island hopping tours, exploring hidden beaches and secret lagoons that feel like they're straight out of a dream. To round out your adventure, a few nights in Siargao would offer a refreshing contrast, allowing you to unwind, explore its unique landscapes, and embrace the island's free-spirited charm. This combination promises a New Year's trip that’s packed with variety, adventure, and plenty of that unstoppable energy you're looking for!

Obviously considering Coron seeing as it’s close and easy to get to from El Nido, but I’m wondering if it’s too similar to El Nido and Borocay that we won’t have much variety. We’re not particularly into diving which I see is an…
