Planning to travel with my mom to montenegro. To drive or not?
Our take
Planning a trip to Montenegro with your mom sounds like an exciting adventure! Since you've recently learned to drive and are building confidence, you might be wondering about the challenges of driving there. Considering your mom's limited mobility, avoiding public transport is wise. It's important to explore alternatives like hiring a driver or using taxis if you choose not to drive.
I (F) am planning to take my 70 year old mom to Montenegro. It’s going to be just the 2 of us. I recently learnt to drive and have a US license. I have been driving in the US for 2 months and have some anxiety about driving but am slowly overcoming it.
How hard would it be for me to drive in Montenegro?
My mom cannot walk a lot which is why i want to avoid public transport. What are my alternatives if I don’t drive and how expensive can it get?
I plan to go last week of May or the first week of June.
Anyone who has driven there, what was the experience like? How similar or dissimilar are the rules and discipline when compared to the US?
