Planning to visit Algeria in September, advice please!

Our take

Hey, adventure seekers! šŸŒāœØ I’m planning an epic trip to Algeria this September, and I’d love your advice! My journey starts in vibrant Algiers, followed by a night bus to the historic city of Constantine and its stunning DjĆ©mila ruins. After some time in GhardaĆÆa and the enchanting M’zab Valley, I’ll head to Tamanrasset for an excursion to Assekrem. If time allows, I’m hoping to explore the breathtaking sand dunes of Timimoun. I’m excited for this backpacking experience and would appreciate any tips on accommodations

Hi everyone, I am planning to visit Algeria in September for a few weeks. My current plan is this:

Algiers for a few nights

Night bus to Constantine

Constantine and DjƩmila

Night bus back to Algiers, then onwards to GhardaĆÆa

A few days in GhardaĆÆa/M’zab Valley

Overnight bus to Tamanrasset

Join an excursion to Assekrem

Back to GhardaĆÆa

If all went to plan and I still have a few days, out to Timimoun for the sand dunes

Afterwards (or straight away if I didn’t go to Timimoun) back to Algiers, then fly back

It’d be more of a backpacking trip, so finding accommodation while I’m there.

Grateful for any advice and tips!
