Portugal in last 2 weeks of September. Hows the nightlife

Our take

Hey there! The last two weeks of September is a fantastic time to experience Portugal. With the summer crowds winding down, you'll find a more relaxed vibe while still enjoying vibrant nightlife in both Lisbon and Lagos. In Lisbon, the bars and clubs remain lively, with plenty of opportunities to dance the night away and meet new friends! Lagos also offers a fun atmosphere, especially along the beach bars. Expect a mix of chill evenings and energetic parties, ensuring your adventure is unforgettable.

Hello!

me and my friend [m26] are planning to go to portugal for the last week of September.

We’ll arrive in Lisbon then go to Lagos and finish our trip in Madeira. We heard September is a good time to go because its less busy and the weather is more comfortable.

The only thing is we were worried about nightlife during that period since its less busy and we’re planning to go out to party in Lisbon and Lagos.

Will the vibe be more chill or will there still be a lot of people to interact with?

Thank you in advance for any feedback on our itinerary or advice on the nightlife.
