Get ready for an epic Prague adventure! It sounds like you and your wife are about to embark on a seriously fun trip, and we're so stoked to help you make it even more amazing. Bohemian Switzerland National Park? Yes, please! Those photos are no joke, and it’s totally the kind of vibe we’re here for – pure, unadulterated exploration. Let's dive into how to get there and what else you absolutely can’t miss.

First things first, Bohemian Switzerland! While the photos might look like a dream, the journey is part of the adventure, and spoiler alert: you can totally do it without renting a car. The most popular and straightforward way is to hop on a bus. Several companies offer direct routes from Prague to towns like Hřensko or Děčín, which are the gateways to the park. From there, you can easily catch local buses or even enjoy a scenic ferry ride across the Kamenice River to reach the most iconic spots, like the Pravčická brána (the largest natural sandstone arch in Europe!). It’s all about embracing the journey and soaking in the changing scenery. Trust us, the energy you’ll feel exploring this natural wonderland is totally worth the bus ride!

Now, for your 4-day Prague itinerary, you're aiming for a sweet spot of delicious food, rich history, breathtaking nature, and plenty of walking – with a dash of off-the-beaten-path magic. You're in for a treat! Beyond the must-sees, consider exploring the charming Lesser Town (Malá Strana) for its picturesque streets and hidden gardens, or wander through the Jewish Quarter for a deep dive into history. For foodies, ditch the tourist traps and seek out local pubs and eateries offering traditional Czech dishes – the goulash and svíčková are legendary! If you’re craving more nature and a less crowded experience, a day trip to Karlštejn Castle is a fantastic option. It’s a stunning medieval fortress perched on a hill, and the hike up offers incredible views. It’s a bit of a journey, but the sense of discovery and the jaw-dropping architecture make it an absolute gem, far from the usual hustle and bustle. You’re going to glow with every new discovery!

So me and my wifeare heading to Prague for 4 days, staying right in the city center, super pumped about it.

We've been looking at doing a day trip to Bohemian Switzerland NP and honestly the photos look insane. But I have no idea how to get there. Is there a bus that goes directly or do we have to rent a car? Would love to avoid renting one if possible but if it's really worth it we'd consider it.
