Renting a car: driver licence damage but legible
Our take
Hey everyone! I have a bit of a concern before my trip to Brussels tomorrow. I have a car booked with Avis, but I just discovered that my driving license is damaged. There's a crack running across the card, although all the details are still clear and legible. I'm worried about whether this will be an issue when I go to collect the car. Do you think I’ll still be able to pick it up without any problems? Thanks for your help!
Hi everyone! I have an issue: tomorrow I’m travelling to Brussels for a few days, and I have a car booked with Avis. When I was taking my driving licence out of my wallet, I noticed that it’s damaged. There’s a crack across the card, and if it’s not handled carefully, it could easily split. All the details are still legible, and the crack doesn’t affect any of the information.
Will I still be able to collect the car without any problems?
