sfo- self transfer

Our take

If your flight from JFK arrives at SFO at 6:00 AM and you need to self-transfer to an international flight to Tahiti by 12:30 PM, you have ample time to make your connection, especially since you're traveling with carry-on luggage only. However, you will need to go through TSA again for your international flight, as you're transitioning from a domestic to an international terminal.

If my flight arrives from JFK/Nyc (6:00 am) to SFO/San Francisco (9:30am), and I need to self transfer to an international flight within SFO by 12:30 pm (flying to Tahiti), is that enough time?

I will only be doing carry on (so not checking in bags).

Is there a separate long process to go through since I'm going from domestic to international flight, even though I won't be leaving the airport? Would I need to go thru TSA again?

Just wanted to account for long lines and delays.
