Should we spend more time in Granada or Malaga?

Our take

Planning a trip to Spain is an exciting adventure, especially when choosing between the vibrant cities of Granada and Malaga! With a set date in Granada, you have a fantastic opportunity to explore both destinations. You could enjoy two nights in Granada, soaking in its rich culture, followed by three nights in Malaga, where you can bask in the sun and take a day trip to the stunning Ronda.

Planning a trip to Spain. I need to be in Granada on a certain day. Was thinking 1 night in Madrid on arrival then 2 nights in Granada, 3 nights in Malaga (with a day trip to Ronda), 1 night in Cordoba before returning to Madrid for a couple more nights before departing back to US. Alternatively we could spend 3 nights in Granada and only 2 nights in Malaga, or skip Cordoba to do 3 nights in each. Thoughts?
