Some advice please. Malaysian airlines did not transfer flight ticket to emirates.
Our take
Facing a flight cancellation can be frustrating, especially when it involves multiple airlines. In your situation, where Malaysian Airlines has transferred your ticket to Emirates, it's important to clarify the next steps. Since Emirates cannot process the Malaysian Airlines ticket, you're left waiting for the Malaysian desk to open. While it’s tempting to buy a new ticket, this can be risky. Explore whether you can get a refund or compensation from Malaysian Airlines for the inconvenience.
My flights from Kuala Lumpur to the UK with Malaysian airlines were cancelled and moved to Emirates. I tried to book in at the airport as advised by Malaysian airlines when I couldn’t book in online.
Emirates are saying the ticket number from Malaysian airlines is not capable with their system and we have to wait 7hrs until the Malaysian airlines desk opens.
Do I have any options here?
Could I pay for the flight and claim back or am I screwed.
