Our Take: Navigating Spain with Your Little Explorer!

Hey adventurers! So, you've got an epic Spain trip on the horizon, and you're wondering about the best way to keep your little one comfy and energized? Totally get it! Traveling with a five-year-old who needs a midday recharge but loves to explore can feel like a puzzle. But guess what? We're here to help you solve it with a splash of sunshine and a whole lot of positivity! Spain is bursting with amazing sights and sounds, and we want to make sure your whole squad can soak it all in without missing a beat. Forget any worries about tired legs or naptime drama – we're all about making this journey as smooth and joyful as possible, so you can focus on the adventure!

When it comes to getting around with a little explorer who's growing fast, the stroller question is a big one! For a four-week trip hitting up vibrant cities like Madrid, Granada, Logroño, San Sebastian, and Bilbao, you've got options. Bringing your own stroller means you're familiar with it, but it can be a hassle to lug around. Buying one there could be a good solution if you decide you need it, but it might add to your packing list or require a shopping trip upon arrival. Think about the rhythm of your days. If you envision lots of spontaneous exploring and then needing a comfortable spot for a midday rest, a stroller could be your best friend. It’s like a little mobile base camp for your little main character, giving them a chance to recharge while you still get to see the sights. Plus, it can be super handy for carrying all those essential snacks and souvenirs!

But hey, let's think outside the stroller box too! Sometimes, the most epic adventures come from trying something a little different. Have you considered a comfortable toddler backpack carrier? These can be amazing for navigating cobblestone streets and can keep your little one close while giving you more freedom. It’s all about finding what makes your family feel unstoppable and ready to embrace every moment. Remember, the goal is to keep the energy high and the smiles bright! Spain is a place for discovery, and with a little planning, you can ensure your entire crew, from the littlest to the biggest, has an absolutely brilliant time soaking up all the magic. Let’s make this trip one for the memory books!

From travel

My 5 year old doesn’t last very long walking and she still naps midday, but only if we are in the car (so maybe shed nap in a stroller?). She is the same height/weight as my 7 year old so carrying her gets tough.

We will be in Spain for 4 weeks - Madrid, Granada, Logroño, San Sebastian, Bilbao
