Still jetlagged? +8 hours eastbound

Our take

Feeling the jetlag blues after your epic journey from Mexico to Amsterdam? With an 8-hour time difference, it’s no surprise! You kicked off your adventure by sleeping a solid 11 hours on the first night, but the following nights have been a bit of a struggle, with only 5 hours of sleep each time. Remembering last year's quick recovery, it’s tough to be in this rough patch again. How long does jetlag usually last?

Flew from Mexico to Amsterdam and arrived Saturday evening at Amsterdam. 8 hours time difference.

First night slept 11 hours.

Second night 5 hours in total (woke up in the middle of the night).

Third night also 5 hours in total (woke up again in the middle of the night).

I remember last year the same jetlag was over in 2 nights 😭 and now I'm still a wreck. How long is this jetlag supposed to be?
