Switzerland - Is Mid to end of June a good time for Switzerland 10 days trip ?

Our take

Hey folks! I'm planning a 10-day trip to Switzerland in mid to late June and could use your advice. I've heard mixed messages about this timing, especially regarding costs and weather. We're on a budget and want to avoid regrets about not choosing July or August. I love the idea of fewer crowds and cheaper accommodations, plus it fits our vacation schedule. However, I’m concerned about potential rain, the lushness of the scenery, and whether family-friendly activities like gondolas and cable cars will be available.

Hi folks

Need advise as I got mixed messages for planning a trip to Switzerland in June

We are on budget so want to save but not at the cost of spoiling the whole trip and regretting why we did not choose July or August.

If anyone has hands on experience, please share.

Here are my reason to go in June.

Pros:

\- less busy, comparatively cheaper tickets and accommodation

\- suits our Vacation schedule

\- hoping it will still be green

Concerns:

\- will it be raining most days and its not as green as we should experience for Switzerland ?

\- going with young kids so we are not into long hiking but would love to experience nature and do some nice sunny strolls.

\- will activities like gondola’s, cable cars, paragliding, trains not yet open ?

Please share any other points that I’ve missed,

Thankyou
