Taking drugs into Saudi Arabia - register with SFDA - what's my "full Arabic name"?

Our take

Planning a trip through Jeddah to Malaysia in June? If you're bringing medication, you'll need to register with the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA). However, you might face a challenge with the "Full Arabic name" field, especially if your name is in English. Simply translating your name via Google might not suffice, and accuracy is crucial to avoid any legal issues. To ensure a smooth experience, consider seeking assistance from someone fluent in Arabic or the SFDA directly for guidance.

we'll be travelling through Jeddah on our way to Malaysia in June and I need to register my medication with the SFDA.

BUT

There's an obligatory field "Full Arabic name" and I have a very definitely English name written with Latin characters. what am I meant to put here? just Google translate my name to Arabic?!

I don't want to get it wrong and get thrown in jail for bringing drugs into the country cos i didn't spell my name correctly in Arabic 🤣
